Just to begin with, im not gonna write about what happend here in Norway. I know most of you guys are totally over it, but some of us got scars. Norway is a small country, so its not a suprise that I knew some of the people who were brutaly taken away from this life.
Back to what I really want to talk about, THE KOOKS. Their new album Junk of The Heart came out earlier this month, and I pre-orderd it. Because im a huge fan.. Might be a little girly, and I don't tend to like that kind of music, but there is something special about The Kooks. First song I heard, Naive, just blew me away. Must be one of the best songs. Ever.
So, back to the album review. I have read some other reviews about Junk of The Heart, and I just could not agree less! In my opinion this is a great record. Its both catchy and the lyrics are great. I just love to listen to their songs, and then suddenly it all make sense. Like the song "Mr. Nice Guy". First time you hear it, its like a silly little pop song - "Don't belive in things that don't belive in you, they'll be leaving you". True story. Other than that I really liked the songs "Rosie", "Petulia" and "Eskimo Kiss". The songs are kinda "easy-listening", but I like them.
I would like to make a better reveiw, but I don't really have that much time. There are so many things going on right now, and there is too little time. I will be better at blogging, promise!
I know this has absolutely nothing to do with The Kooks, but I just randomly found that Keane song, Spiralling. Listen to it!!
